Fighting cancer is fashionable
An infusion of style, courtesy of all your best friends on and off campus.

Over 130 volunteers from the University Students’ Council, Western 125, Sports and Recreation Services and other organizations have joined forces on this year’s Infusion fashion show. From sponsorship alone, the show has already raised over $19,000 for the London Regional Cancer Centre, according to Infusion’s director of public relations, David Barnes.

“Our vision for the show is to work alongside students, staff, faculty and businesses to make the Western community better and stronger,” Barnes said. “We are one of the few student-organized events running a 125th Anniversary [function].”

Sponsors include Apple Computers, AT&T Wireless, RBC Capital Markets and Western’s own Bookstore and Campus Computer Store.

The show is on Nov. 21 at Alumni Hall and is a dry event. Organizers are expecting over 1,500 people and tickets are currently on sale. For more information, Infusion is on the Web at www.infusionfashion.com
