Women's Rugby

The women's rugby team enjoyed a successful season this year, winning first in Ontario and placing third in the country. After eliminating Guelph from the playoffs -marking the first time ever the Gryphons would not be represented in the Ontario University Athletics finals- the women's team defeated the Waterloo Warriors 19-5. The Mustangs' win sent the women's rugby team to their first ever nationals.

The team then travelled to Edmonton and battled the top teams in Canada as well as the sub-zero weather. After losing to the defending champion Alberta Pandas, the Mustangs easily beat St. FX 23-0 in the bronze medal game.

Success-O-Meter Score: 9/10
