Soccer team determined to bring home the gold

After a three year hiatus, the Western Mustangs' men's soccer team is heading back to nationals. And they don? plan on coming home empty-handed either.

Purple Pipe: Roberto Caballero Jr.

The men's soccer team cleaned up in the Ontario University Athletics championships after finishing third in the regular season. To begin the finals, they knocked the McMaster Marauders out of national contention in their semi-final game last Saturday by a mark of 1-0. After a scoreless regulation and fruitless overtime, the teams met in an intense shoot-out; the Mustangs triumphed by a 4-2 margin.

Jock Talk with Caballero Jr.

What interested you in goaltending?
I just got thrown into it. I tried out for a [Mississauga house-league] team when I was eight and the coach told me to try net. They started shooting at me and it just came naturally.
