ARTS & ENTERTAINMENT

SWANKY

Cyborgia Art Show: This Saturday, check out some quality art produced by Western's own visual arts students, who pooled their talents to produce a one-day art show. Cyborgia takes place from 11 a.m. until 5 p.m. at Museum London, 421 Ridout St.

Our celebrity look-alike feature: Do you look like a celebrity? Do you know someone who does? Okay, so this is really just a shameless plug, but listen up: if you answered yes to either of the above, please contact us (gazette.entertainment@uwo.ca)! You (or your friend) could be featured in our celeb look-alike piece, which is sure to be fun, exciting and of course, sexy.

MuchMusic VJ Search Tour: The fact MuchMusic is sending out their crews to scour the nation for new VJs can mean only one thing: perma-stoner Amanda Walsh is one step closer to getting the "you're not hip anymore" boot. Huzzah!

SKANKY

Western Idol: The idea of the University Students' Council discovering someone worthy of the Idol title is rather sketchy, especially since Tyler Done is out of the running this time (he's judging). Not to mention, why isn't there a female judge la Sass Jordan and Paula Abdul? Who's going to tell the contestants "you made that song your own?"

The end of Paradise Hotel: With the spectacular two-hour finale having aired last night, all that's left now is for the hype to slowly die away. Boo to evil television execs making us wait another year for more Paradise Hotel. Boo indeed.

Strip Search: When there's a show about the search for Canada's best male stripper, we know the reality TV craze has gone way, way too far. This show and everything it entails, is skankiness defined. Note to Canada: stop taking cues from the United States!
