Ravers, unite: electronica invades The Wave

Want to go to a rave without leaving campus? This Sat., Oct. 25, from midnight to 2 a.m. at The Wave, CHRW 94.9 FM will be live-to-air with TranZaction. Along with Guelph native DJ Ampz, the event will feature two of Canada's biggest house DJs battling at the same time: DJ Mattlok and DJ Global Killer, both of whom have toured extensively throughout Canada. So put on your fuzzy pants, grab a pair of glow sticks and get out on the dance floor!

Courtney Love may say bye-bye to parenthood

Is this really so surprising, considering she's been walking the junkie path for as long as we've known her? Well, now it may come back to bite her in the ass, because according to MTV.com, Courtney is in danger of losing her 11-year-old daughter, Frances Bean Cobain (fathered by the late Kurt Cobain). The Department of Children and Family Services took Frances from Love's home earlier this month after Courtney's infamous B&E. Frances is temporarily living with grandmother Wendy Cobain.
