Are you pretty? No really, are you pretty?

Just when you thought it was only going to be the Charity Ball, they go and make up more events for the Charity Ball they want everyone to audition for and even attend.

Auditions will be going on for the Charity Ball fashion show from 5 to 7 p.m. on Tue., Nov. 4, and by appointment on Nov. 5, said Kathy Robineau, University Students? Council Charity Ball commissioner, adding the auditions will occur in Rm. 315 of the University Community Centre.

"The fashion show tryouts will include dancers," Robineau explained, noting interested applicants can pick up their applications at the USC office on the third floor of the UCC.

"All shapes and sizes [are welcome]; anyone and everyone that wants to [can come out]," Robineau said. "The actual show is Sun., Jan. 18 at The Wave," she added.

Costume + Party = TV

Ah, Halloween. The one night you can dress up as a lady even if your name is Jim or Gary and no one will look at you funny except the guy wearing the same dress.

On spooky Oct. 31 you can dress up as whatever you please and sach down to The Wave for a Halloween party of monsterous and even gory proportions.

The party will be held at 9 p.m. at The Wave and it will not be a Wet/Dry event, said Liz Berman, communications officer for the University Students' Council.

"We will be scaring the pants off you," Berman said.

If you have an extra snazzy costume, you will be happy to know there will be a costume competition. The grand prize for the best costume will be a brand spankin' new television, Berman explained.

Admission will be a mere $2.50, Berman said.
