SWANKY

Ryan Malcolm in the T-Dot... again: Rush The Vote is hosting a block party to raise awareness for the upcoming provincial election and the star of the show will be none other than our new Canadian Idol himself. The concert will take place Sep. 27 at Dundas Square and other performers include Jacksoul, Saukrates, and Glenn Lewis.

The return of Sex in the City: Carrie and friends are back for another season of sex... in the city, that is. The show returned last week and will be airing Fridays at midnight and Saturdays at 11 p.m. on Bravo. This season is allegedly the show's last, so get watchin'!

Cool bands coming to London: Korn, A Perfect Circle, Godsmack, Jane's Addiction - over the past few months, bigger and cooler bands have started coming to London instead of bypassing it for Toronto.

SKANKY

Randy Savage as a rapper: Taking a hint from the likes of Shaq and Oscar De La Hoya, Randy "Macho Man" Savage has decided to try his hand at rapping, since noone cares about his wrestling career anymore. His album is scheduled for an Oct. 7 release - be sure to arrive at record stores early that day.

Postponed Hawksley Workman concert: Originally scheduled for this past Tuesday, the concert had to be postponed as Workman came down with an ear infection. Poor Hawksley. Hopefully it will be rescheduled on a convenient day, so everyone who purchased tickets will still be able to go.

The end of Canadian Idol: We promise this is the last reference to Canadian Idol. In any case, we'll miss Ryan Malcolm and all the rest of the Idol kids - not to mention Zack Werner's bitterness and Sass Jordan's insanity.
