To the Editor:

What makes the doctors at Student Health Services so damn special that they can charge me, a starving arts student, $50 for a missed appointment?

I worked for the office of a gastroentrologist this summer and I understand what it is like for physicians when their patients do not show. It isn't that bad, guys. I'm sure you used the time wisely. You're doctors aren't you?

To make matters worse, when I did not pay this absurd bill, the staff threatened me. To remove any penalty will now cost me $40, if I do not pay up in two weeks. Hello, you're sick.
