Writing high
To the
Editor:
I was very interested in reading that famed Canadian golfer Mike Weir plans to take a break from the PGA tour next year to pursue the lucrative position of VP-student affairs at Western.
Furthermore, I was more than surprised to realize that this five-time PGA winner was also in his fourth year of a biology degree. Maybe if he wins we can expect free golf lessons for all students interested?

Editor's Note: The candidate running for VP-student affairs is actually
named Mark Weir. Incorrect information appeared in the Mar. 7 edition
of The Gazette. However, we do believe that PGA pro Mike Weir
would make a fine VP-SA.
