Crib Notes

THEATRE: For the truly Canadian, The Grand Theatre is showcasing The Black Bonspiel of Wullie MacCrimmon, a comedy that incorporates the trials and tribulations of curling. The show begins at 8 p.m. and runs until Feb. 21.

LIVE MUSIC: If you’re up for making the trek east of Adelaide, hit up the Embassy tonight and check out The Failsafe Agenda with Elysium, Closed Casket Funeral and Grace Villa. Tickets are $5 at the door.

TV: Justin Timberlake, Christina Aguilera, The White Stripes and Outkast are some of the hip-and-happenin’ nominees at the usually less than hip-and-happenin’ Grammy Awards. 8 p.m. on CTV.

TV: Tune in to The OC to find out whether or not Marisa gets shot! (OK, I think we all know she won’t, but still... )

TUE. FEB. 10
LIVE MUSIC: Do you like listening to bread rock and looking at the long, ratty hair of Chad Kroeger & co.? Then maybe you should take a road trip to Toronto. Nickelback hit the Air Canada Centre tonight. Oh joy!

WED. FEB. 11
TV: You know you want it — more American Idol! Tune in to Fox at 8:30 p.m. for the always entertaining kick-off episode.

THU. FEB. 12
LIVE MUSIC: Hit up Call the Office for the Burt Neilson Band’s CD release party, which is sure to be a rockin’ good time. Tickets are $8.
