SUNDAY, JAN. 25
TV: It’s Golden Globes night! The 61st edition of the awards, voted by members of the Hollywood Foreign Press, airs on NBC. Presenters include Ellen Degeneres, Ashton Kutcher, Sarah Jessica Parker and Uma Thurman.

MONDAY, JAN. 26
AWARDS: The second annual Brickenden Awards for Theatrical Excellence in London begin at 7 p.m. in the Wolf Performance Hall at the London Central Library. Tickets cost $10 each and are available through The Grand Theatre box office at 672-8800.

TUESDAY, JAN. 27
CD: Ultra-cool retro-pop experimentalists Stereolab release Margerine Eclipse, the group’s first disc since the death of vocalist Mary Hansen. It’s probably a lot better for you than purchasing X-Tina’s Stripped DVD, also out today.

WEDNESDAY, JAN. 28
TV: There’s something about those power-hungry contestants with dollar signs in their eyes on the Donald Trump reality-TV hit The Apprentice. Airs at 8 p.m. on the powerful corporation NBC.

THURSDAY, JAN. 29
