The Student Development Centre offers a host of programs and services under International Student Services. The SDC is located in Rm. 210 of the University Community Centre and can be contacted via e-mail at iss@sdc.uwo.ca. The following are just some of the services offered:

• International Student Peer Connection — The ISPC is a program designed to help international students during their transition to Canada.

• English Conversation Program — Small group workshops are offered to help improve oral communication skills in English.

• International Students and Job Searching — These information sessions give students the low-down about immigration regulations and assists them with their job search in Canada. The next session takes place Wednesday, Mar. 3 at 1 p.m. in UCC Rm. 211.

• Other workshops available at the SDC include: Writing at a Canadian University, Resumé and Cover Letter Writing for ESL and International Students.

• International Student Services also hosts numerous social events throughout the year, ranging from “Pizza and a Movie” to taking in a London Knights hockey game.
