Four-OT thriller ends in heartbreak for Mustangs

The heated rivalry between the Western Mustangs and Lakehead Thunderwolves men’s hockey teams was taken to yet another level this weekend in the Ontario University Athletics Far West Division championship series.


McNutt grabs silver

In wrestling action this past weekend, the Western Mustangs travelled to Brock University to compete in the 2004 Canadian Interuniversity Sport championships. The Western women’s team finished fifth overall, while the men placed 12th.


Four medals for swimmers

After a long, successful season, the Mustangs’ swimming team brought home four medals from the Canadian Interuniversity Sport championships this past weekend in Toronto. The Mustang men placed fifth overall with 229 points, while the women treaded into 17th place with 23 points.
