Celebrity Dartboard
Stick it on a wall, aim and throw!

Mel Gibson has taken on a holier-than-thou persona by unleashing a controversial, bloody Jesus film. He’s garnered sympathies from several moviegoers, as this move has put his otherwise successful career at risk, investing US$23 million to create The Passion of the Christ... So what? Gibson rakes in millions for every film he stars in — such an extravagant amount is merely small change for this actor/director. And clearly a blockbuster film about Jesus, incessantly covered by every entertainment medium, would likely generate cash flow; the film has milked $218 million in North America alone, probably enough to feed more than Jesus could with a little bread and a few fish. It will be interesting to see how much of this cash is used to help people, and how much will simply be added to the Gibson retirement fund.
