Layton speaks at Western

New Democratic Party leader Jack Layton explained the reasons he should replace Paul Martin as prime minister yesterday during a speech in the University Community Centre atrium, attacking the Liberal party and outlining some of the programs an NDP government would implement.


Martin’s Western visit well-received... mostly

Western is still aflutter after last week’s visit by Prime Minister Paul Martin, which left professors, administrators and students with different impressions of the future of post-secondary education in Canada.
