Universities attack poor gov’t spending

A report criticizing the previous Ontario government of short-changing post-secondary education comes on the heels of a separate advertising campaign launched by a university lobby group to convince Ontarians of the need for more public funding of the public institutions.


Laptop theft-demic

The Campus Communit Police Service and Information Technology Services are trying to get the message out about computer security after yet another theft — this time, the stolen laptop contained four years of work on a PhD thesis, which was not backed up.
