YMCA set to run Western Day Care

Last week the 33 employees at Western Day Care were given termination notices after the university decided it would no longer be the operator of the new day care building currently under construction on Western Road.


Gas prices becoming an election issue

MONTREAL (CP) — Prime Minister Paul Martin says he will raise the issue of sky-high gasoline prices at an international summit next month but couldn’t promise Wednesday that his efforts would be reflected at the pumps anytime soon.
