In light of several cases involving copyright infringement at various universities, the Carleton Graduate Students’ Association is working to inform graduate students about their intellectual property rights and what to do if those rights are violated. (read more)

U. of Toronto divests from tobacco companies

The University of Toronto will be the first Canadian university to divest from tobacco companies.

Following a proposal by U of T student group E-BUTT, Education-Bringing Youth Tobacco Truths, U of T’s administration agreed to divest from tobacco stocks. (read more)
