An Abercrombie & Fitch and Hollister vendor was booted off campus last Thursday for the sale of counterfeit merchandise.

Mario Iafrate, a private investigator for Hallmark Investigations who was hired by the companies, presented the vendor with a cease and desist letter. (read more)

Lobby group pressure hinders academic freedom

A recent call to defend academic freedom might be guilty of perpetuating its own agenda, according to a Brescia professor.

Professors from Princeton University, Harvard University, University of California, Santa Cruz, Institute for Advanced Study and Columbia University have started a petition calling for increased academic freedom. (read more)

Kusinski and Western settle: $825

Despite being taken to court by one dissatisfied attendee, an outpouring of support for Western’s French immersion school in Trois-Pistoles, Québec, ensures it will be around for years to come.

Adam Kusinski, a fourth-year social science student, recently took Western to small-claims court over his negative experience at Trois-Pistoles. (read more)
