Maintaining a healthy diet on campus could be tougher than you think " some campus foods promoted as “healthy on-the-go options” may actually be worse than eating at McDonald’s.

Anne Zok, nutrition manager with Hospitality Services at Western, described a healthy student diet: “The average lightly active adult female aged 19 to 30 needs approximately 2,000 calories per day, while the average lightly active adult male needs approximately 2,600 calories to maintain a healthy weight. $300,000 student housing legal battle

After a Supreme Court of Canada ruling, City of London taxpayers are footing a $300,000 bill because of a secret meeting city council held to block development of student housing.

According to court documents, in 2003 a group of townspeople who lived near Western on Richmond Street complained to city council about the increase in student housing in their area. (read more)

King's student council motions to ban CBS

King’s University College students are getting bloody serious over a ‘homophobic’ policy.

Ryan Gauss, King’s University College Students’ Council president, motioned to ban Canadian Blood Services from King’s campus in response to its “men who have had sex with men” policy. (read more)
