With around half of all undergraduates at Western involved in a club on campus, it comes as no surprise the University Community Centre atrium is bustling again for Clubs Week II.

The clubs system includes approximately 18,000 members and appeals to every niche, be it cultural, political, spiritual, philanthropic or social. (read more)

Largest demand for placements since 2003

Yesterday was the deadline for high school students to apply to Ontario universities, as students across the province hope to get coveted post-secondary acceptances and start their freshmen lives.

However, this year the demand for university spots is expected to reach an all time high in Ontario since 2003 when students in both grade 12 and the former grade 13 graduated together. (read more)

York Federation of Students establishes relief fund for students

The York Federation of Students has opened its wallet and established a $40,000 relief fund for frustrated York students who have been financially affected by the ongoing labour dispute at the university. (read more)
