Noise bylaw aims to remedy persistent problems

Following an increase in complaints from residents, London is revising its noise bylaw.

The current bylaw proposal from London City Council would, among other amendments, change times which loud noises are allowed in residential neighbourhoods from 11 p. (read more)

Paper across campus has gone green following an initiative set by Graphic Services.

Forest Stewardship Council: Paper " a brand internationally recognized as one the most sustainable brands on the market " was integrated into Graphic Services to make the department more environmentally friendly. (read more)

Ontario reforms provincial animal cruelty laws

Stricter enforcement of animal cruelty laws has been a long time coming in Ontario.

On March 1 the new Provincial Animal Welfare Act took effect, bringing Ontario to a standard of animal cruelty laws recognized across Canada, explained Kristin Williams, public relations manager for the Ontario Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals. (read more)
