Staff at Western are being given a better opportunity to retire and move on to greener pastures.

A new early retirement package has been made available to staff at Western. The package allows for staff to have up to the first 40 weeks of their retirement paid for by the school. (read more)

Emerald ash borer threatens lifespan of local ash trees

One of London’s most recognizable tree populations is at risk of being depleted. Sadly, it is not the metal trees decorating the downtown core.

The ash, a prominent tree in the Forest City, is under attack from the emerald ash borer " a highly destructive insect that attacks and kills ash trees. (read more)
