This week, longtime Cuban dictator Fidel Castro stepped down as the country’s leader, installing his 79-year old brother Raul Castro as a temporary leader.

The political change marks the first time since 1959 that Fidel Castro has not been Cuba’s leader. (read more)

UCC dancers should respect the rest of us

When the University Community Centre is renovated, a dance space would be a terrific idea.

Based on the number of groups filling the UCC every night, the space would be used.

For now, a dedicated dance space doesn’t exist. (read more)
