In a game filled with turnovers and momentum shifts, Cory Watson’s fumble in the end zone off a missed Ottawa field goal late in the fourth quarter turned the tide of the game.

The Mustangs lost a hard fought battle to the Ottawa Gee Gees by a score of 35-30 on Saturday night at TD Waterhouse Stadium. (read more)

The Windsor Lancers might want to blame the Brock Badgers for the 5-0 thrashing Western handed them on Saturday.

Brock ended Western’s winning streak at three games last Sunday and was the first team to put a ball past Western’s All-Canadian goalkeeper Haidar Al-Shaibani. (read more)

Western men's rugby

After settling for silver in last year’s Ontario University Athletics playoffs, the men’s rugby squad is hoping they will be as good as gold this season.

Already, their 2007 campaign is off to a strong start; the team is currently 2-0 after defeating the Windsor Lancers 59-3 in their home opener and thumping the Guelph Gryphons 43-0 on the road this past weekend. (read more)

Western men's baseball

The Waterloo Warriors could only watch as the Mustangs followed a 4-0 shutout with another 2-1 victory on Sunday at Labatt Park.

Western returned home after their first loss of the season at Laurier on Saturday to host the Waterloo Warriors in their second doubleheader in two days. (read more)
