A day after defeating the Laurier Golden Hawks 3-1 at Alumni Hall, a confident Mustangs men’s volleyball team stepped onto the court to face the visiting Waterloo Warriors.

However, Western’s confidence was not enough to secure the win " the Warriors walked away with a 3-1 victory on Sunday. (read more)

On a night where the rim seemed tiny for Western, Brad Smith’s 21 points were not enough to overcome the Queen’s Golden Gaels last Friday.

The Mustangs shot just over 30 per cent from the floor and a paltry four for 23 beyond the arc en route to an 82-71 loss to Queen’s. (read more)

Badminton team wins OUA gold medal

Yet another Ontario University Athletics title for Mustangs Athletics was awarded this weekend when the badminton team rounded out its undefeated streak with another ‘W.’

The badminton squad took home its third-straight OUA gold at Ryerson University on Saturday, defeating the Waterloo Warriors 8-5. (read more)
