The Western Mustangs’ postseason came to an abrupt end Saturday, as the Brock Badgers handed it an 85-75 loss in a game highly anticipated by each side.

Western was hoping to prove its Ontario University Athletics semi-final victory over the Badgers was no fluke, while Brock wanted to avenge that same 17-point loss. (read more)

The Western Mustangs men’s basketball team opened the Canadian Interuniversity Sport championship tournament with a bold statement: We are here to win.

The men earned themselves a berth in the semi-final with a 75-70 win over the Atlantic University Sport champion Saint Mary’s Huskies. (read more)

This year’s winner of the Jack Donohue Award for the Canadian Interuniversity Sport national championship tournament MVP was Brock Badgers forward Owen White.

The 6’7” Port Hope native made a strong case for the hardware after a breakout performance, averaging 19. (read more)
