The Game: Penetrating the Secret Society of Pickup Artists

Between mixed signals and baggage from previous relationships, seduction and relationships can be dangerous territory, and they’ve resulted in slews of websites and books aiming to help people with their pick-up problems.

Are you a lonely single guy looking for some lovin’ but not sure how to go about it? Check out these books and sites to become a stellar seducer.

Currently, the dating market’s hottest book is Neil Strauss’ The Game: Penetrating the Secret Society of Pickup Artists. The book divulges numerous insightful tips on approaching, reading, and attaining attractive women, using a method Strauss dubbed the “Annihilation Method.” The Game documents Strauss’ two-year transformation into pick-up artist “Style” as he studies under dating experts like “Mystery” and Ross Jeffries.

Websites like Fastseduction.com and Attractionacademy.com skip the roses and chocolates, offering message boards where members can swap cut-to-the-chase seduction tips and testimonials " and membership is free.

Fastseduction.com is a community based around Ross Jeffries’ Speed Seduction method. Jeffries’ home-course pack, available at Speedseduction.net, costs $225 US for the basic kit and $350 US for the deluxe package.

Speed Seduction focuses on teaching “powerful language patterns designed to bypass a woman’s left-brain critical ‘check list’ through which she normally screens guys.” Basically, for $400 you can learn to use psychology and language to manipulate and lie your way into a woman’s bed.

Many Fastseduction.com testimonials praise Jeffries for letting them get sexy women into bed on a regular basis and in record time, even if they’ve just met them. Some even thank Jeffries for giving them the necessary tips for scoring regular threesomes.

Unfortunately, these new “dating” methods focus on teaching men how to get women into bed but not into relationships. This focus on casual sex may satisfy some single men’s needs, but for anyone looking for a real relationship, these methods are fairly useless, as they encourage infidelity, lying and promiscuity.

Guys seeking sex and a serious relationship are better off sticking to LavaLife.
