An evening with First Nations writers Tuesday
Western’s Department of English invites students to a free evening with three First Nations writers Tuesday from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. in Conron Hall, Room 224 of University College.

The event features Daniel David Moses, Drew Hayden Taylor and Monique Mojica. All three writers will form a panel to answer questions after the readings and a short reception will follow.

Stroke prevention symposium at Brescia Tuesday
The Heart and Stroke Foundation, Canadian Association of Food Service Professionals and Brescia University College are celebrating healthy lifestyle choices in a symposium Tuesday at 6 p.m.

Guest speaker Dr. J. David Spence, director of the Stroke Prevention and Atherosclerosis Research Centre, will talk about the health benefits of the Mediterranean diet.

Beverages and hors d’oeuvres will be served. Students, faculty and staff are invited to the free event.
