Relay for Life kickoff at the Taphouse tomorrow
Western’s Relay for Life is holding a pre-relay kickoff fundraiser at The London Taphouse tomorrow.

Tickets can be purchased at the door or at the Relay booth in the University Community Centre atrium for $5. Proceeds go to the Canadian Cancer Society. To sign up for the relay, which raises money and awareness for cancer, visit Relay for Life takes place Saturday, March 31 from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. in the UCC.

Fight AIDS in Africa with Western Heads East
Want to become a Western Heads East intern and fight the AIDS crisis in Africa? The program is accepting applications for 2007-08 fall and winter school terms.

Western Heads East, Western’s response to the HIV/AIDS crisis in Africa, is a probiotic yogurt nutritional program based in Mwanza, Tanzania.

According to project co-ordinator Jonathan Birinyi, interns integrate their degree programs into project goals. Candidates are encouraged to include these related technical skills on their applications.
