Show your “compassion” for medical marijuana users
The London Compassion Society, a medical marijuana resource facility, invites students to show their support by attending two gatherings.

A peaceful information-gathering session takes place Sunday in Victoria Park at 4:15 p.m. Supporters are also invited to join the LCS at the London Court House 9 a.m. Friday, April 20.

Celebrate Earth Day with Western’s colloquium
Environmental Research Western is holding an Earth Day Colloquium Friday, April 20 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the North Campus Building, Rooms 114 and 117.

The colloquium is dedicated to the interdisciplinary sharing of ideas in environmental research, science and management.

Anyone is welcome. Free coffee will be served.

UWO Red Cross Society recognizes raffle winners
The UWO Red Cross Society raised over $1,700 in its second annual campus-wide raffle.

Proceeds go to the London-Middlesex Red Cross branch. The UWO Red Cross Society matched the money raised by the raffle and sent it to aid the crisis in Sudan, Darfur.

The raffle prizes were donated by London companies and organizations. The winners are Amanda Rosenblum, Erika Reid, Jocelyne Levesque, Matt Duong and Steph Mabee.
