Become a Campus Tour Guide, get paid to do it
If you’re seeking a little extra dough to support your Starbuck’s habit in the coming school year, the Undergraduate Recruitment Office is currently accepting applications for 2007-08 Campus Tour Guides.

The position calls for enthusiastic students with “above-average knowledge of on-campus activities and events” but doesn’t require previous tour guide experience.

The position pays the work-study wage, which is currently $9.50 per hour " that’s two coffees at Einstein’s or Quotes, FYI.

Campus Tour Guides work part-time and must commit to work from September of 2007 through April 2008. Applications for the positions are due by Feb. 2.

New undergrad arts journal wants you
The new undergraduate arts journal, The Semi-Colon, is looking for submissions for publication.

The Semi-Colon is searching for essays from upper-year students and courses within the Faculty of Arts and Humanities which have received an “A” grade.

The deadline for submissions is Feb. 11. Essays can be dropped off in University College Room 112F or e-mailed to

Essays must be verified as “A standard” by a professor through e-mail or with a signature on the hard copy.
