Re: “‘Tis the season to give”

To the Editor
Your gift to sophs and Green Party promoters is worrisome. I am a former soph and, although I love sophs in general, I admit there are those that get a little... overzealous. Which is clearly irritating to anyone not involved in Frosh Week. And who doesn’t hate political pushers?

My only worry is this: giving Ritalin may be a bad idea. Ritalin, as many sleep-deprived students and over worked mothers have discovered over the years, is actually a stimulant when taken by people not actually suffering from hyperactivity disorders. Essentially you may as well give those irritating, perky, in-your-face individuals speed. I shudder at the thought.

Perhaps just stick with the chloroform.
