Missing Macey

Tuesday, April 7th, 2009

To the Editor:
A space once occupied by a daily witty diversion has been replaced with mazes in various forms such as an egg, a car and a bow-loving teddy bear. Is this the most creative The Gazette staff can be or has Brice Hall left us to join “The Buried Life”?

Are these merely attempts to fill space until his hopeful return? Since the beginning of the semester I have eagerly opened each issue of The Gazette only to be disappointed by the disappearance of The Gazette’s best content this year.

What happened to “Macey Lane”? If readers don’t know what I’m talking about, maybe Mr. Hall might be inspired to grace us with his endearing depictions of what a Western girl “is” at least a couple more times. Pretty please, with a cherry on top?
