Re: “UCC dancers should respect the rest of us”
Feb. 21, 2008

To the editor:
I support [associate editor Dave Ward’s] view on dancers being respectful to the rest of us. One evening last year, I was trying to leave the University Community Centre and the dancers were blocking the whole hallway, as I have seen them do many times.

I waited several minutes for the dancing to stop, at which time I tried to get across the largest gap, which was in front of the lead dancer. Just as I was about to pass her, the music suddenly started again and she did a dance spin that resulted in her roundhouse-kicking me in the stomach. She then gave me a dirty look.
