Re: “The Gazette shouldn’t be picking winners”

To the editor:
I believe the letter was written because The Gazette is in fact the only student newspaper widely distributed around campus. The New York Times is not the Chicago Tribune is not the Washington Post is not the Toronto Star, and so on and so forth.

Illogically defend yourselves as you may, endorsing a candidate when you are the only outlet (and please don’t cite the Regis, the Buzz, the MITzine or Huron’s Grapevine because they do not get anywhere near your circulation or readership) is just flat out irresponsible, regardless of the freedoms you are given.
