March Madness Pool bracket

With March halfway complete and pro sports still in the midst of their regular seasons, the next few weeks will be dominated by the NCAA March Madness basketball tournament. As always, Gazette Sports is releasing its annual March Madness pool.

Fill out a completed bracket, including the score of the final game, to The Gazette office, located in room 263 of the University Community Centre. Completed brackets must be submitted no later than Thursday, March 20 at noon.

The scoring system for the pool is as follows:
1 point for every correct selection in the Round of 64;
2 points for every correct selection in the Round of 32;
3 points for every correct selection in the Sweet 16;
4 points for every correct selection in the Elite 8;
5 points for every correct selection in the Final 4;
6 points for selecting the winner. Should a tie occur, the first tiebreaker will be if an entry has both teams, as well as the winner correctly predicted for reaching the finals. Should another tiebreaker be required, winners will be determined by the margin of error they have on the final score in the finals.

The winning contestant will receive a prize of epic proportions (yet to be determined).
