An aspiring poet? Love to write poetry and share it with the whole world? Here’s your chance to share your talent with the rest of UWO at our annual Poetry Slam. Participants are invited to present their original poems and/or perform a dramatic reading of deceased poet on campus. The best thing is you could win up to $100 in cash from one of the three categories: classical, spoken word or hip-hop. Bring your friends, and enjoy a great night of poetry.

Any student wishing to participate in the Poetry Slam MUST register online at WWW.IAMGREAT.CA. Registration is now open and will close on Wednesday, March 28th at 8pm.  In order to participate in the Poetry Slam, you must indicate which category you are competing in: Spoken Word (unstructured; free style), Classicial Poetry (structured; stylized form) Rap/Hip Hop.

Your category of poem can be declared in the "Additional Information" section on WWW.IAMGREAT.CA.
