Spoke Facts•••••••• • The Spoke was established in 1969, originally named The Spoke and Rim Tavern. That name still appears on our Liquor License • The Spoke was originally located in the basement of Sommerville House • The Spoke employs over 100 part-time UWO students, and annually pays out over $300,000 in salaries to those students • In the 2007-08 school year, the Spoke sold 33213 CLT's • Last year the Spoke sold 19.7 metric tons of French fries • In 2003 The Spoke sold $1 beers for St. Patrick’s Day.
