Manager of Student Activities

Rich, originally from Unionville, Ontario is a UWO graduate with a four year bachelors degree in biology and psychology. Rich is currently pursuing his Master of Arts in Leadership from Royal Roads University as he aspires to work within the post-secondary sector as a student life professional. As an undergraduate, Rich was heavily involved in Rez-life, the Orientation program and Clubs system at Western. Rich has many interests, particularly in adventure sports and the culinary arts.  His extra-curricular activities were an integral part of his life as a student that he believed contributed to a healthy work life balance.     

Rich’s unique personality brings a lot of energy to the Student Life department.  As an innovative thinker, Rich has a keen desire to increase every students’ leadership footprint on campus.  As the Manager of Student Activities for the USC, Rich is responsible for overseeing the execution of events and programs for the USC ‘s Student Life Department. In particular, Rich oversees the execution of all USC Student Life programming, provides assistance to any USC Club or, Student Organization planning an event, and any programming being executed by a USC Vice President or USC Commissioners and Coordinators.
