What We're All About
University Students' Council (USC) organizes and hosts a series of free tax clinics for UWO students. Our clinic is a registered community partner under The Community Volunteer Income Tax Program (CVITP) to provide this FREE service to UWO students.
The clinic is run by professionally trained student volunteers who help process personal income tax returns of students (FREE of charge). We recruit more than 100 volunteers who are trained and authorized by Canadian Revenue Agency (CRA) and file more than 200 tax returns in five days of tax clinic.
The income tax commissioner and executive committee are in charge of managing, running, and overseeing all aspects of the clinic.
