Our Team

Ann obtained her CA designation in 1985 and spend several years working in public accounting in a regional CA firm in London. Later, she worked for a series of government organizations, including in corporate tax audit for the Province of Ontario. Ann has been teaching at UWO for 9 years, and absolutely loves working with students, especially if it involves tax. Ann has never met anyone who wants to pay more tax than is absolutely necessary.

Christina Chong - Administrative Officer

Adam is in his third year of the MOS program with a specialization in Finance and Administration. It is also his third year with the ITC. He will pursue his CA designation after graduation and is interested in both accounting and finance. In addition to the ITC, Adam also works with the Financial Review Committee and MOSSA. He is excited to continue the tremendous success of the Income Tax Clinic at Western.

Joshua is a student at the Richard Ivey School of Business. He is born in Toronto and raised in Hong Kong. Joshua plans to obtain a CA designation upon graduation and is hoping to entrepreneur a business with his friend in the future. If you ever see him around campus, don’t be afraid to say hi to him or give him a high five.

Saba graduated in Finance and Administration in 2011 and has returned in order to obtain her CA. Saba has been consistently involved in multi-faith groups on campus and currently holds a position in the USC financial review committee. This is Saba's first year being involved in income tax clinic and is looking forward to helping students.

Andrea is in her final year of the MOS program with a specialization in Accounting. She is pursuing her career towards CA/CMA designation in a non-profit organization. Andrea believes that ITC is an excellent opportunity for students to get involved in the Western community and learn about the importance of personal tax returns. Outside of the clinic, Andrea works as a student mentor to help students plan their finances for current and future academic years.

Kristy is in her final year of the MOS program with a specialization in Accounting. She plans on obtaining her CA designation after graduation in April and is interested in becoming a specialist in Tax or Consulting/Deals. Kristy also enjoys engaging in employer relationship development and participates in running the campus Career Week and Job Fairs throughout the year. Outside of school, Kristy can often be found dabbling in social media outlets or reading a good novel.

Corey is a business student at the Richard Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario and an eager and an ambitious entrepreneur. He joined Western's income tax team in 2011 to refine his marketing skills by refreshing the clinic's brand and image. As web coordinator, Corey designed a new logo with a new colour scheme for the clinic, providing a more professional and attractive look. He then developed an effective and user-friendly website that dynamiclaly adapts to the students' and clinic executives' needs. Outside of the clinic, Corey is a business manager for Western's Formula Racing Team and also raises money in support of children with severe disabilities and life-threatening illnesses.
