Why are there two stores, The Purple Store and The Bookstore with Western clothing? Aren’t you the same?
No, The Purple Store is owned and operated by the University Students’ Council, The Bookstore is owned by the University.
Why does the University crest logo appear to be cut off under the arm of the zip hoods and t-shirts?
This design is intentional to resemble a stamped logo. It is our number one selling logo and easily identifiable as the Western logo.
Do you hire students?
The Purple Store hires UWO students for our small cadre of part-time sales staff! Resumes are welcome each February for both summer employment & for the upcoming school year. The hiring process is normally conducted throughout March. Look for our annual ad with Career Central for more info each February.
What is your return policy?
Items must be in brand new, re-saleable condition accompanied by the original sales receipt. Hats are final sale.
Shipping and handling charges on ecommerce sales are non refundable.
How should I care for my clothes?
We recommend wash in cold and hang to dry.
Do you make specialty/custom clothing?
We recommend that you go to see Purple Door Promos located on campus on the 2nd floor of the UCC building. They can help you create any number of personalized items ( clothing or promotional items) for you/your residence/your friends!
