Choose Your Own Adventure

Choose Your Own Adventure

The USC at Western University has developed an early outreach program, Choose Your Own Adventure to provide young students with the tools to make informed decisions about post-secondary pathways. The conference focuses on students who are under-represented in the post-secondary education system and may be at risk of not pursuing these pathways. The early outreach program aims to prepare young students for the endeavours of post-secondary education and provide them with the tools they need to overcome any challenges they are met with.

Participants in the conference will have the opportunity to be mentored by selected and trained UWO students who will facilitate confidence-building activities as well receive information and resources on post-secondary education. Located on the University of Western Ontario Campus, the 2012 chapter of the conference will take place May 11th-13th with accommodation, meals and activities for the week-end provided for the Delegates. Participants will be mentored by Leadership Developers, a group of enthusiastic students trained specifically for the conference to provide leadership and insight.

Western University hosts the 6th annual Choose your own Adventure Conference on the week-end of May 11th – 13th. This year the conference will be held jointly on Fanshawe College and Western University campuses.
